Children of the Null

This is the new world, and you children must be ready for it.

 

Children of the Null asks how we can best raise the next generation,

given the world we bequeath them.
In a secure establishment, two candidates are hardened to withstand

a totally financialized environment. They learn in a healthy rural retreat,

though the distant sounds of war, and clear evidence of incursion keep

them aware of the importance of their training.
This piece is directly inspired by Joseph Losey's 'The Damned', and the

tradition of English rural SF, like 'The Midwich Cuckoos'. The hazmat suits

evoke the isolationist sentiment in the air at the time of it's production,

on the eve of Brexit.
